Welcome to the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) Dallas—Chapter 5!

We proudly serve the Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties. Since our establishment, TSPS has been dedicated to supporting the professional growth and integrity of surveying professionals. It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to our society, and I invite you to attend our events to experience the wonderful community and opportunities that TSPS Chapter 5 has to offer.

Our mission is to develop a community where surveyors can build relationships with like-minded professionals, enhance their skills through continued education, and promote the art of land surveying. We strive to provide our members with an excellent professional community where they can be challenged and prepared for the continuous technological advancements in the profession. The passion and commitment of our members help give back to the community and support the next generation of surveyors through education and scholarships.

Our core values focus on protecting the public, integrity, service, excellence, ethics, and community. Our members, including registered surveyors, surveyors-in-training, students, and associates, all strive to uphold high technical and ethical standards in surveying.

As the president of TSPS Chapter 5, I bring over 30 years of experience in the land surveying profession. My journey with TSPS began eleven years ago, and it has been a rewarding experience to witness the growth and development of our Dallas Chapter. Chapter 5 played a crucial role in my education, as I was a consecutive recipient of the Chapter’s John Pierce Education Assistance Fund (JPEAF). As president, I am committed to building the chapter and helping others receive the same opportunities I did while advocating for continuous learning in this age-old profession.
